Crusader Driving School

Tax Season Surcharge

Our licensed instructor, Carle Mock, also owns and operates Crusader Income Tax.  Due to the overwhelming demand for his services preparing income tax returns during tax season, Crusader Driving School charges $100 more for the in-car lessons if they are scheduled during the months of January through April.  The goal is to encourage driving students to schedule their in-car lessons during the other months of the year.  This has the additional benefit of encouraging more new drivers to avoid the worst weather of the year when scheduling their first lessons.  Students may register for the online course, proceed through it, and complete it during those months without paying any surcharge.  The surcharge will only apply if you schedule in-car lessons to occur on January 1st through April 30th.  Students who are registered for the online course in December are encouraged to complete that course before Christmas so that the in-car lessons can occur between Christmas and New Year’s Day, while students who complete the online course during the first 4 months of the year are encouraged to wait until May 1st to schedule the in-car lessons.  However, for anyone who agrees to pay the surcharge and requests lessons during tax season, Crusader Driving School will continue to schedule them without delay, with the first lesson occurring within a week of sign-up, regardless of the time of year.
